NEW DELHI - Iconic British brand Burberry Tuesday opened its second store in the capital for its niche and exclusive clientele.

Located in The Oberoi hotel, the store is spread over 1,700 square feet and stocked with the most expensive, high-end Prorsum women’s wear range apart from regular line for men and women.

It will also have accessories like eyewear, fragrance, belts, scarves, wallets, handbags and clutches.

Burberry opened its first store here in 2008. It has three more stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

The exclusivity of the store can be gauged by the fact that the company is planning to stock it up with the widest range of apparels and accessories and has no plans to have “sales” in its outlet.

Trench coats, biker jackets, multi-studded jacket, tiered ruche dress, backless layered silk strip dress and biker leggings are offered in the Burberry prorsum spring-summer women’s wear line collection.

The hues are vibrant with colours like black, pink, opal, lime, citrus, white, silver and spearmint used in the line that is dominated by cotton, silk, satin and georgettes.

The price of the prorsum range starts from Rs.50,000.
