Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz welcome their 1st child

MELBOURNE - Actress Penelope Cruz, who is married to Spanish actor Javier Bardem, has given birth to their first child.

Spanish newspaper El Pais reported that the baby, whose gender has not been revealed, was born at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Hospital, reports News.com.au.

Bardem, 41, and Cruz, 36, were tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in the Bahamas in July last year.

In September the pair confirmed Cruz was expecting. (ANI)
