“The Cape” Premiere Attracts Viewers

LOS ANGELES, (GaeaTimes.com)- Superheroes are back with a bang! This time with “The Cape”. This superhero-genre TV series has created a buzz on television. “The Cape” premiered last night at 9p.m on NBC. The story revolves around a police-turned-crime-fighter, who, due to circumstances, gets wrongly accused of the crimes that take place in the fictitious city where he resides. Vince Faraday, the actual name of “The Cape” has supernatural powers of removing any obstacle that comes in its way of removing crimes from the city. The character of Vince Faraday is played by David Lyons.

Vince Faraday, or “The Cape”, as he is called, makes use of mirrors, smoke and cape to fight crimes taking p[ace in the city. The chief enemy of “The Cape” is “Chess”, a criminal billionaire, played by James Frain. The “Chess” has an ally called “Orwell”, who assists him in the crimes taking place in the city. Sunday’s two-hour long episode showed Chess and his ally creating fear in the city, and the entire police force is being used to keep them in control. The part played by David Lyons, as Vince Faraday, was noteworthy. For superhero-addicts out there, this series has more than enough to provide them. The episode also showed the police force, moving to ARK, a private law enforcement company to keep the terror in the city under control. “The Cape” lives in Palm City, where the terror spreads.

People who are in awe of superhero movies or anything related to superhero, are sure to have a great treat for their eyes, through this TV series. However, it is doubtful whether “The Cape” would attract a good number of audiences of different tastes. The show premiered with a two-hour long episode, but it is set to get aired every Monday with a one hour episode.
