WASHINGTON - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated 2 million dollars to the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary in Namibia.

Jolie has a special place for the African nation in her heart because she gave birth to her daughter Shiloh in Swakopmund, Namibia, in 2006, reports UsMagazine.com.

“We want her to grow up with an understanding of her country of birth,” Jolie, 35, explained of the donation.

The sanctuary is home to mostly orphaned and injured animals that cannot be released back into the wild.

It also offers luxury accommodations, which raise money for conservation projects.

“We continue to be impressed by their hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia,” Jolie said. (ANI)
