NEW YORK - Eminem has secured 10 Grammy nominations, including nods in all three top categories, the only star to pull off the hat trick.

The biggest selling artist of the year now stands as the most Grammy-nominated, reports the New York Daily News.

Eminem’s 3 million-selling “Recovery” CD got a nomination for Album of the Year, while his “Love the Way You Lie” rapped its way into both the top song and record slots.

He recorded the hit song with Barbadian singer Rihanna, who earned two other nominations in smaller categories.

The second biggest contender this year (with seven nods) is newcomer Bruno Mars, who functions as the Beach Boy of this generation. His breezy songs dominated this past summer’s charts.

Gaining six bids were New Yorkers Lady Gaga and Jay-Z. (ANI)
