LONDON - Twilight bosses have added more security to protect stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart from over-zealous fans at their shoot in Louisiana.

The actors are currently working on the two-part finale of the vampire series, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’, and filming was moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana this week.

The cast will be shooting scenes at the Raleigh Studios lot and producers have asked for a drastic increase in security to keep the actors safe.

“We have increased our number of full-time security personnel from six to twenty-four in the last week,” the Daily Express quoted Winston Achee, head of the facility’s security, as telling Scene magazine.

“That’s just the beginning of the ramp-up. We’ll be adding two to four more every week. So, we’ll have on property at all times a forty-eight man force.

“We are not taking security on this property lightly. The security that the production has brought doubles our own force,” Achee said

And Achee warns any fans who attempt to get near the set will be severely punished.

“We have a law on the books, State criminal statute 1462.4. If you get charged with that offence, it’s a felony. This ain’t no misdemeanour. We will absolutely prosecute every person who trespasses. There have been six who trespassed before and they have all been caught,” he said.

“The property is covered with high definition security cameras… I used to run security for Elvis. I’m confident,” he added. (ANI)
