“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” leak Creates Controversy!

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — As the whole world is celebrating the launch of “Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows“, Warner Bros. is busy looking for the source of a leak that took place just before the launch of the film. The producers of this blockbuster franchise, has confirmed that it is investigating how 36 minutes of the film, which is released in cinemas on Friday, found its way on to the Internet on Tuesday night.

In 2009, a full-length copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine was leaked on to the Internet a month before it was due in cinemas. However, it made no difference to the success of the film, which made nearly $90m in the US alone in its first weekend on release. So film-experts are of the opinion that this leak of footage will not hamper the box office collection of the film. Infact, if the starting of the film shown in the leak is catchy enough, people will buy tickets to see the whole film in theaters.

But the question that has been raised that whether Warner Bros. has intentionally leaked the film clips or not. According to a film critic-

It may be going a little bit too far to suggest that Warner Bros. leaked the film intentionally, but from a business perspective it might make sense.
