Hathaway protects Gyllenhaal from ‘nosy’ questions over Taylor romance

MELBOURNE - Anne Hathway is not just Jake Gyllenhaal’s co-star, but she may well be his ‘protector’ too.

Hathaway leapt to the defense of her “Love and Other Drugs” co-star Jake Gyllenhaal when she pretended to scold a nosy reporter prying into the actor’s personal life, reported The Daily Telegraph.

Gyllenhaal is said to be romancing 20-year-old singer Taylor Swift and the romance was the hot topic at a New York press conference for his new film.

But Hathway stepped in and asked the reporter to limit the questions to the movie only.

She joked, “Hang on, hang on, I have to say something! I have been Jake’s on-screen love interest for years, all right? You keep the conversation to me and only me, otherwise I’m going to get nasty!” (ANI)
