“The Event” Premiers On NBC

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The American conspiracy thriller and mystery series “The Event” premiered last night on NBC and it gave ample drama to the audience to chew on till the next week. The show is created by Nick Wauters and the “Joan of Arcadia” actor Jason Ritter has lived up to the expectations of the people with his wonderful performance. The NBC series “Lost” is off-air now and it can be said that the NBC officials are setting “The Event” to take its place in the viewer’s minds.

The NBC officials have left no stones unturned to promote the series with non-stop trailers and advertisements. The last night’s show opened with press conference where an interruption results in mayhem. Jason Ritter, who plays the role of Sean is seen panicked while he boarded the fight. The audience gets to know via flashback that he is going to meet his girlfriend Leila and propose her to marry him. However, the audience would know later that his girlfriend Leila will suddenly disappear mysteriously and he would investigate it. Simon Lee would be seen in deep conversation with Sophia and try to convince her that the election of a new President will cause much problem in their “event”. The premiere of “The Event” created lot of questions in the minds of the viewers and it is expected that the audience will be provided with the answers in the upcoming episodes.

The plot and structure of “The Event” is somewhat different from the other mystery thrillers. There will be flashbacks in two different timeframes to keep the interest of the audience alive. The show officials promise that there will be big reveals and big clues in each episode.
