LONDON - Actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Gabourey Sidibe are joining forces in the fight against sex trafficking as they have signed up to lead a campaign to stamp out the illegal practice.

Dailystar.co.uk reports, the two stars have been announced as the new faces of a scheme run by the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office in New York City, which aims to raise awareness of the plight of women who are sold into prostitution.

The pair will appear on flyers and posters to publicise a telephone hotline to help stop human trafficking.
