KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian Central Agency for Application for Filming and Performance of Foreign Artistes (Puspal) has given the green light to the ‘Adam Lambert Glam Nation Tour Live in Malaysia 2010′ concert, but under certain conditions that need to be followed.

The concert featuring Adam Lambert, the American Idol runner-up in 2009, will be held on October 14 at the Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil.

According to The Star, Puspal principal assistant secretary Mohammed Dian Nais said the guidelines include that the singer should be decently dressed and should not indulge in performing indecent acts, like removing his clothes.

He was responding to a protest memorandum against the concert by Pas Youth deputy-chief Azman Shapawi Abd Rani. The memorandum referred to Lambert’s reputation of performing sexually-provocative acts on stage, including kissing a male musician during a live performance at the American Music Awards in November 2009, which was even criticised in the US.

Mohammed Dian added that concert organisers, Marctensia Entertain-ment and Sony Music Malaysia, had been briefed about the regulations.

“Previously, we stopped (hip hop artist) Akon’s concert in Sunway Pyramid because the singer had acted indecently by removing his clothes during a previous concert,” he added.(ANI)
