LONDON - Quentin Tarantino’s long time film editor Sally JoAnne Menke has been found dead in the Hollywood Hills after going hiking with her dog during the city’s hottest day on record.
Sally Menke, 56, a close friend of the director, was found at the bottom of a hillside close to the Hollywood sign, reports the Telegraph.

She was only 100 yards from nearby homes and her black Labrador retriever was nearby.
It was not immediately clear whether the heat was a factor in her death. Foul play was not suspected.
The film editor had set out to go hiking in Bronson Canyon with a friend but they became separated.

At the end of the hike the friend could not find her and alerted police.

A search team using a helicopter and sniffer dogs found her body along a hiking trail at 2.15am on Tuesday.

A heatwave had sent temperatures in Los Angeles soaring to a record high of 113F (45C) on Monday. (ANI)
