MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Hollywood actress Demi Moore has resorted to an out-of-court settlement with an Australian magazine following a lawsuit that was filed by the “Ghost” star for unlawfully publishing photos of her as well as a host of other celebrities. The 47-year-old Hollywood star was scheduled to appear in the court on Monday to provide evidences against the magazine that validated her claims that she owned the photos that have been published in the magazine in the year 2008 without her consent. However, sources have confirmed that the “Indecent Proposal” star has decided to settle the matter out-of-court and thus has reached an agreement with the Australian magazine.

While revealing details of the case, judge John Middleton has stated that Demi Moore does not need to provide the evidences in the case as the matter has been settled by the two parties. At the same time, the judge also noted that given the fact that the Hollywood diva would not be appearing in the court with regard to the case any longer, it was sure to disappoint her large number of fans. Moreover, Demi Moore’s attorney has also confirmed to the media that the case has been ’settled in principle’ between the two parties while an agreement would be worked out in the near future.

The photos which created all the hoopla was taken in a party that was thrown by Demi Moore in 2008 which was attended by the likes of Orlando Bloom, Cameron Diaz, musical artist P. Diddy, among others. The estimated worth of the photos were supposedly a whopping 200,000 dollars.
