Jennifer Grey Dancing With the Stars Performance: A Tribute to Patrick Swayze

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — As the 11th season of dancing With the Stars kicked off this Monday, Sep 20, 2010, audience hold their breath tight to experience another blasting new season with big celebs. Amidst gleeful moments Jennifer Grey created an emotional ambiance as she reminisced her co-actor Patrick Swayze, who died last year of pancreatic cancer.

Jennifer Grey recalled Patrick Swayze, whom she acted in the hit 1987 film “These Arms of Mine.” She danced with her partner on a song chosen from that film. She completely broke down on the stage of the Dancing With the Stars at the end of her performance.

Addressing her partner Derek Hough, Jennifer Grey said,

It took me back in a time capsule, and I was with Patrick. I just missed him. He was like you, young and gorgeous.

Jennifer was looking stunning in a blue gown. She gave an outstanding performance that fetched her the highest score of the night - 24 out of 30. Judge Bruno Tonioli was overwhelmed by Jennifer’s performance and commented
