August 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Legendary Rock n Roll band Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has come up with a delight for fans. No, he is not quitting the band yet! He has come up with an absolutely star - studded solo album. We know that solo albums with guests usually have extremely gratifying results, both artistically as well as commercially. Take ‘Supernatural’ by Carlos Santana for example, this album sold millions and also won multiple Grammys.

In a similar manner, Ronnie has assembled a troupe of Rock n Roll stars for his new album, quite appropriately called, ‘I Feel Like Playing’. The album is named after a painting he himself had created for a cover art. This is Ronnie’s seventh solo album and maybe he wanted to make it as special as he could.

He has therefore enlisted the services of modern guitar legend Slash, Pearl Jam vocalist / songwriter Eddie Vedder and celebrated bassist Flea, from the award winning band Red Hot Chilli Peppers. He has also got Bobby Womack, Bill Gibbons from ZZ Top and even the likes of Kris Kristofferson for the album. Ex - Faces band member Ian McLagan has also been drafted into play a role in the album.

The album is due to come out on the 27th of September and is out on the Eagle Records. The track ’Thing About You’ can be heard on his website.
