August 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Following on from the success of the widely acclaimed Love, Sex Aur Dhokha earlier this year, Balaji Telefilms has scored its second principal success with Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai.

OUATIM ranks among the top 3 releases of 2010 so far, as it is set to net INR 60 Cr., from its lifetime run at the Indian box office. Additional revenues from the overseas, music, home video and satellite sales, have further ensured its super hit status.

Set primarily in 1970s Mumbai, OUATIM traces the changing face of the Mumbai underworld, seen through the eyes of a police officer.

Said promoter Ekta Kapoor, "From being the market leader in television content, Balaji has cemented its position in the film space with LSD and OUATIM. 2011 will see a diverse mix of entertaining commercial content from our stable."

Balaji will roll new film projects in the next six months with Neeraj Pandey and Rohit Shetty, among others. The company’s next release is a small budget black comedy, Shor (provisional title), with an ensemble cast, which includes the LA-based Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes, Covert Affairs).
