LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Darren Aronofsky directed upcoming flick “Black Swan” has already managed to create extensive hype much before its much-anticipated release. The Natalie Portman- Mila Kunis starer is among one of the most awaited movies of the year and has also turned out to be a favorite among the international film festivals given the fact that it is the official selection for the Toronto International Festival and at the same time it is all set to open the prestigious Venice Film Festival. However, if the trailer of the psychological thriller which was released on the web on Tuesday is anything to go by then the hype surrounding the movie cannot be termed as overstated.

Since its release on Tuesday, the trailer of “Black Swan” has already being successful in seizing many eyeballs as it provides an intriguing glimpse into the flick that has build tremendous buzz among the movie-goers as well as the film fraternity. The basic premise of the psychological thriller tells the story of a ballerina Nina, played by Natalie Portman, who is selected to play the lead role in the ballet company’s production ‘Swan Lake.’ The story takes an interesting turn when a rival ballerina, Lily, edged by Mila Kunis enters the scene and the two develop a rather complicated relationship. As the Nina gradually comes to terms with her negative shades, she encounters a daunting question about whether Lily actually exists or is a figment of her imagination.

Black Swan” is scheduled to hit theaters on December 1 this year but would be first premiered on the opening night of the Venice Film Festival on September 1.
