MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The immensely popular television quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” is all set to entertain Indian audiences very soon in the future and with the program comes back equally popular host Amitabh Bachchan. While episodes for the fourth season are still being filmed, reports circulating in the media claim that the producers are trying their best to showcase the first episode of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” 4 on the 11th of October, the birthday of Amitabh Bachchan.
Ajit Thakur, the business head and executive vice-president of Sony Entertainment Channel, which has attained the rights of season 4 of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” said in a statement that the first episode will surely be screened in the month of October, however the date has not been rounded up on yet. He added that the phone lines for contestants to take part in the quiz program will be open from the 2nd of August and it is the entries that is keeping the people involved with “Kaun Banega Crorepati” 4 busy as of now.
Season 4 of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” will be back with a major change in the offering. According to reports from the Sony authorities, the quiz show will now have a new logo. In fact it was superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s suggestion that the new ‘rupaiyaa’ symbol be incorporated in the program’s logo, replacing the older rupee version and so have the organizers done. Confirming the news on his Twitter page, Amitabh Bachchan says that he is very happy that his suggestion was taken into account and is looking forward to the screening of season 4. The sets of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” 4 are reportedly being made in the Goregaon Film City.
