LONDON - Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston has launched her first fragrance with a last-minute switch to her own name.

Originally titled “Lolavie,” which meant “laughing at life”, it was changed to simply “Jennifer Aniston”.

The change came when the marketing bosses realised the name was similar to a fragrance of fashion designer Marc Jacobs called “Lola”.

“It turned out as we were getting close to the launch, there was something out there that was very similar and it was just going to get very confusing in the marketplace.

“And at such a late hour, I didn’t want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear was my name,” contactmusic.com quoted Jennifer as saying.

Asked why she choose “Lolavie” as the name, she said: “It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell, but it has a special significance.”
