Puberty making Justin Bieber’s voice ‘cracky’

MELBOURNE - Canadian singer Justin Bieber has revealed that he is going through a rough patch as far as his singing is concerned, courtesy onset of puberty.

Bieber, 16, had appeared at New York’s Rockefeller Plaza on June 4 for a mini concert broadcast on NBC’s Today Show, and his performance left him sounding nowhere like his CDs.

While singing ‘Baby’ he bailed on the high note in every chorus, holding the microphone away from his mouth and letting the backing track run up the vocal register.

And during the frequent falsettos in ‘One Time’, he either danced without singing or changed the key to sing a far lower note than on the original.

The singer had revealed two months ago to ContactMusic.com that he had hired “the best vocal coach in the world” to get him through puberty.

“It cracks. Like every teenage boy, I’m dealing with it,” News.com.au quoted him as saying of his voice. (ANI)
