NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- “Cooking Channel” replaces “FLN” (Fine Living Network) as the channel was unveiled for the very first time on May 31 which is marked as the Memorial Day in the American Calender. “For food people, by food people” which happens to be the catchline of “Cooking Channel” accounts for the fact that the channel people considers food to be one of the most important item above most other things.

The regular faces of Food Network like Paula Deen, Rachel Ray and Guy Fieri have always considered food to be a serious entity and have shared their line of recipes on the same note for all viewers of their show. “Cooking Channel” has a lot to offer for the youth as the show focuses on to bring out the very best out of it’s different segments. That includes “French Food at Home”, “Spice Goddesses”, “David Rocco’s Dolce Vita” and “Exotic Eats”. Among all others “Chuck’s Day Off” is one such show which operates on a light mood and is presented by young chef from Montreal Chuck Hughes. In a few days from now Cooking Channel has plans in store to include celebrity chefs like Rachel Ray, Emeril Lagasse and Bobby Flay to form a part of the show.

As of now the starter shows of Cooking Channel are Laura Calder hosted “Food Jammers; French Food at Home” and writer chef Anjum Anand’s “Indian Food Made Easy”. As a special appearance on “Cooking Channel” Roger Mooking will be present at “David Rocco’s Dolce Vita; Everyday Exotic” to share his favorite food recipes. This is one show which is all destined to pull in heavy viewership for the “Cooking Channel“.
