John Gotti Jr. In “60 Minutes”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- To some John Gotti Junior seemed to be not so bad as people think him to be on the CBS’s “60 Minutes Presents: Gotti”. The CBS showed John Gotti Jr.‘ first extended television interview in one of its most popular shows. The interview saw John Gotti Jr. discuss his life and upbringing in a family that was famous for its criminal activities and how he tried to make his parents feel proud of their son.

Unlike the general notion of sinister looking criminals, John Gotti Jr. seemed composed and calm during the interview. CBS, during the sixty minutes not only presented in front of the viewers the previously unpublished interview of John Gotti Jr. but also provided details about the infamous John Gotti. John Gotti Jr. himself came to know more about his father who was infamously known as “Teflon Don”. John Gotti Jr. talks to Steve Kroft about his privacy issues now. The show was made interesting for the viewers with images of the “Indian Room” of John Gotti Jr. that serves as a temple to the family members.

The CBS show turned out to be of great success as many people tuned in to see the infamous John Gotti Jr. who was a constant presence in news papers during the 1990s and especially in the recent years. Though he was charged with many illegal crimes, in January 2010 the court said that it could not persecute John Gotti Jr. due to there being inadequate evidences against him. There were many people who could relate to John Gotti Jr. as a normal son.
