It is only Huey Freeman the veteran of the kickball game who has to his credit many match wins who can save Ed Wuncler from losing the bet. He is the only person who can save the pride and fortune of Woodcrest which is on stake over the kickball game.

However “The Boondocks” Season 3 episode 3 becomes interesting as Huey Freeman does not play anymore and has gone for a self imposed exile after he hurt a young girl during one crucial match. The episode shows that the girl however is doing fine which is shown through a dance sequel. Ed Wuncler then blackmails Huey Freeman for a comeback to take the position of the captain of the team. The attempts of the former fails and at the end Ed Wuncler reveals to Huey Freeman that the whole fortune of the town is on stake over the kickball game which Huey Freeman must win.
