TWILIGHT characters BELLA and JACOB are among the most popular names for soon-to-be parents in America.

Isabella and Jacob are the most popular girls and boys names in America, according to a new list released by the Social Security Administration.

Jacob has been the top baby boy name for the past 11 years.

Cullen - the surname of Bella’s vampire boyfriend Edward - is the new list’s biggest climber, from 782 to 485 on the moniker list.

Meanwhile, 69 babies born in 2009 were named Barack after the U.S. President.
