LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- “Dancing with the Stars“, one of the most popular television show in United States entered into its third week. The program which had been able to reach the top list of viewer’s choice in just two weeks had on Tuesday its second elimination round. After Shannen Doherty who was the first contestant to get voted out of the show, it was the turn for Buzz Aldrin and his professional dance partner Ashly Costa to leave the dance floor in “Dancing with the Stars” Season 10.

While Shannen Doherty and her injured partner had been voted out of the show according to many for the injury that her partner had suffered, for Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa the reason likely was their poor dance performances. Though the octogenarian tried to put forward on stage his best, it seemed that the astronaut could hardly impress the judges and the viewers who eliminated him out of “Dancing with the Stars“. On Monday, the couple had tried out the Waltz, but ended up being last and earning only 13 points. The judges said that Buzz Aldrin’s movement was more of walking than a waltz.

On Tuesday the couple seemed composed when the elimination was announced. Ashly Costa went on to say that she is proud of Buzz Aldrin. Buzz Aldrin before leaving the stage of “Dancing with the Stars” said that he had agreed to join the show as he wanted to make people aware of the U.S. space science endeavors. He also mentioned that his performance would have elated the octogenarians who would have loved to watch him return to the show every week.
