Dannii Minogue thought boyfriend Kris Smith was gay when they first met

LONDON - Australian singer Dannii Minogue’s boyfriend Kris Smith has revealed that the X Factor judge thought he was gay when they first met.

Ex-rugby league player Kris, 31, also told how he did not recognise Dannii, 38, when he chatted her up in a nightclub.

“When I first started speaking to her, I had no idea who she was. It was only afterwards when a friend told me,” the Daily Telegraph quoted the 6ft 4in Brit, as saying.

“She was discussing with her friends if I was gay or not. Now we’re together so I can prove a point - I’m not gay,” he added.

Kris and Dannii, who met in Ibiza in 2008, are expecting their first child in July.

On being asked who will be the stricter parent, Kris said it would be Dannii.

“It’ll be Dan. I like to let kids be kids and cause as much mischief as I did,” he said. (ANI)
