Kate Snow Leaving ABC

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- “Good Morning America” co-anchor Kate Snow is joining NBC according to the declaration made by the NBC network officials. She would be seen as a news correspondent for NBC’s “Dateline”. According to reports, the executive producer of “Dateline”, David Corvo has revealed to the media that the famous news anchor will be covering the breaking news section and also take interviews for the show. Kate Snow would also contribute to the team by writing content for the channel.
Kate Snow joined ABC in the year 2003 and had the opportunity to cover the presidential elections held in 2004 and 2008. She co-anchored the weekend show of the “Good Morning America” and was a prospective news anchor for the weekday edition of the show after Diane Sawyer’s departure. However, the Network chose Juju Chang to take the position left vacant by Diane Sawyer. According to many, Kate Snow was looking forward to take the responsibility of the weekday edition of the popular show. Many are relating Kate Snow’s shift to the new News channel to ABC’s recent decision.
Kate Snow will join the crew of “Dateline” according to reports, in this spring only. The “Dateline” executive producer has reportedly said that they are happy to have been able to hire Kate Snow for their channel. Kate Snow is considered one of the most dynamic reporter by many and the channel is hopeful that by bringing her into the show they will be able to push forward the popularity of their channel. Before joining the ABC news channel Kate Snow has reportedly worked for the CNN.
