Irina Krupnik Files Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Universal Pictures Co. and NBC Universal might have to face some consequences for using the photograph of the former model Irina Krupnik in the highly acclaimed movie, “Couples Retreat”. It has been reported that the model, who presently works as a make-up artist, became furious when she came to know that the filmmakers had used one of her bikini photographs in an indecent manner in the movie. It has been reported that she did not have any idea about the use of her photograph in the film, until her clients told her that they could recognize her from the photograph in the film.

Irina Krupnik, who did not have any information about the use of her photograph in the movie, “Couples Retreat” was shocked with the act of the filmmaker. According to the reports, she had never sold her photograph to the makers of “Couples Retreat” and they did not have any legal right to use her photograph in the movie. It appeared that the former model has been extremely annoyed with the filmmakers and has accused Universal Pictures Co. and NBC Universal for tampering her “wholesome image”. Reports indicated that the model has also accused that the usage of her image appeared to be “shocking” and “tawdry” to her.

The reports indicated that the model, Irina Krupnik, who has been disappointed to see the usage of her photograph in the movie, had filed a legal suit claiming ten million dollars for using her photograph without acquiring the legal rights. Though the model has been quite vocal against the filmmakers, they have not yet made any comments regarding the allegation.
