Executives at a U.S. law firm have filed a claim against MICHAEL JACKSON’s estate, alleging the King of Pop never paid for legal services over a period of three years.

Venable LLP attorneys are demanding $471,103 (£314,068) in unpaid fees from the star’s estate, claiming the pop superstar received legal advice on a “broad spectrum of matters” from September 2006 to June 2009 - and failed to settle his bill.

Venable LLP is not the first law firm to seek money from Jackson’s estate - bosses at Los Angeles-based company Mesereau & Yu, who defended him during his 2005 child molestation case, claim they are owed $341,452 (£227,600).
