Ricky Gervais to produce mini-sitcom

LONDON - British comedian Ricky Gervais is planning to produce a new sitcom, which will be based on the life of dwarf actor Warwick Davis.
Gervais and his writing partner Stephen Merchant are developing the show which will be called “Lifes Too Short” and is based on Davis’s autobiography, reports express.co.uk. It will be aired on BBC 2.
The makers have discussed the idea with Davis and hope to start filming soon.
“We are incredibly excited about this project. To have Ricky, Stephen and Warwick working together is fantastic,” said a BBC insider.
