A lawyer representing DR. CONRAD MURRAY has dismissed reports MICHAEL JACKSON’s embattled physician has logged onto Twitter.com to ask fans for support - insisting the posts were made by an impostor.

On Monday (08Feb10), Murray pleaded not guilty to a count of involuntary manslaughter relating to Jackson’s death. He remains free on $75,000 (£47,000) bail.

Within 24 hours of the hearing, an unnamed user logged on to the social networking website under the name DrConradMurray and pleaded for support.

The posting read: “Please consider that I too am a father, do not judge or condemn me until you have walked in my shoes. Please pray for my family.”

But Murray’s lawyer insists the postings are “100 per cent fake”. He tells TMZ.com, “He (Murray) doesn’t even have a smart phone.”

Murray stands accused of administering the powerful anaesthetic Propofol which killed Jackson.

He is due to return to court on 5 April (10), when a date for the preliminary hearing will be set.
