Robert Downey Jr, Beyonce to star in ‘A Star Is Born’ remake?

LONDON - Actor Robert Downey Jr. and pop diva Beyonce may share the big screen in the remake of 1930s classic ‘A Star Is Born’.
The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star may play the role of Normal Maine, while the ‘Single Lady’ hitmaker could don the character of Esther Victoria Blodgett, aka Vicki Lester.
Also, John Hamm, Alicia Keys and Rihanna may make an appearance as back-up stars, reports the Daily Express.
According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, actor-turned-director Nick Cassavettes has signed the deal with Warner Bros.
The film is set to release in 2012. (ANI)
