Queen Latifah wants to adopt Haitian children

WASHINGTON - While most celebrities are doing their bit by donating money to the Haiti earthquake relief fund, actress Queen Latifah has said she would like to adopt a Haitian baby.
Queen Latifah, 39, real name Dana Elaine Owens, said on the Today Show on January 21 that she is ready to become a parent.
“I wanna just go down there and get some of those babies,” Us magazine quoted her as saying on the show.
“If you got a hook up, please get me a couple of Haitian kids. It’s time. I’m ready,” she added. (ANI)
