LONDON - Wyclef Jean is fuming over reports suggesting that the singer used money raised by his Haiti charity for his own enterprises.

The Haitian-American rapper’s NGO YELE managed to raise 1 million dollars to help victims struck by the massive earthquake that shook the Caribbean on January 12.

The organisation’s financial status came under scrutiny over its accounting practices leading to speculation that the star was using the funds for his own personal profit, reports the Mirror.

The multi-platinum musician has now hit back at the allegations in a video uploaded on YouTube.

Jean is also set to play co-host along with actor George Clooney for a benefit telethon that will feature performances by Bono and Justin Timberlake, the paper said. (ANI)
