Michael C. Hall Fighting With Cancer

SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall has been fighting with cancer. In a statement that was recently released, the much acclaimed actor revealed that he has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma and has almost reached the end of his treatments. Just days after the actor made the revelation that he has been fighting cancer, Michael C. Hall was honored with the 2010 Golden Globe for Best Actor for his popular television series “Dexter”, in the award ceremony last night.
Michael C. Hall stated recently that he considers himself extremely lucky to have been diagnosed with a treatable and curable form of the condition. Moreover, Craig Bankey, the spokesperson of the actor reiterated that the 38 year old television star’s cancerous condition is in remission although the treatments would continue as scheduled. Meanwhile, the fact that the actor was indeed fighting cancer came as surprise to many of his friends and castmates who stated that they never realized that Michael C. Hall was suffering from the condition as the actor never showed any signs of the ailment.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Michael C. Hall emphasized that he would not have revealed the fact that he is fighting with cancer had it not been for the award season. The actor added that he did keep his cancerous condition as a secret from the world mainly because of the imminent award shows, which propelled him to release a statement revealing his medical condition.
Michael C. Hall is best known for his television appearances in the HBO series ‘Six Feet Under’ as well as for edging the role of Dexter Morgan in the drama series ‘Dexter’.
