Joe Jonas Planning Haiti Aid Trip

JOE JONAS has pledged to visit earthquake-ravaged Haiti in a bid to help with relief work following Tuesday’s (12Jan10) disaster.
The Jonas Brothers star was stunned by the devastation the 7.0-magnitude quake caused, and he’s pledged to take time out of the spotlight to travel to the country.
He tells MTV, “I think I might go, to do some relief work. I’m going to try; I’m going to try to get there.
“(I can get there) either this Tuesday or, like, two or three weeks from now. I can’t promise I’m going to go, but I’m going to try. I really want to be able to support in any way I can; I was going to go to Haiti before, to do similar work there. But now it’s obviously a completely different thing and my heart goes out to those people there and the families and everything.
“I just pray that everybody’s all right, and I’m going to try and do my best by getting there. And I would definitely say, if anyone can give money or support, it’s the perfect way to do it.”
Meanwhile, Lenny Kravitz has appealed to his fans to donate as much as they can to the country’s aid appeal.
He tells USmagazine.com, “Our neighbours in Haiti are in desperate need of our help in their darkest hour. We have to band together as one to help our Haitian brothers and sisters. Time is of the essence.”
