Lutz Keen To Land Conan Role

TWILIGHT star KELLAN LUTZ is the frontrunner to land the lead in the CONAN THE BARBARIAN remake - and he’s thrilled.
Lutz admits he can’t wait to take over from Arnold Schwarzenegger - because the role will give him the chance to really bulk up.
The hunky movie vampire explains, “It’s something that I’ve been actively going after because I’d die to put the weight back on… I want to be the big guy that I was.”
Lutz tells Eonline.com he’s been auditioning for the part and now must wait to see if he’ll be chosen as the new Conan.
He adds, “I’ve been waiting for a while, doing screen tests. There are just so many cooks in the kitchen. If it happens, it happens… I’m just excited, because the script is great.”
Reports suggest Stargate: Atlantis actor Jason Momoa is also up for the role.
