T D Dasan, Standard VI B Biju Menons latest flick!

In this age of unique titles, here comes another Malayalam film with a strange title, T D Dasan, Standard VI B. Starring Biju Menon and Jagadeesh, this film is about a child who is affected by his parent’s problems. Mohan Raghavan is directing the film.

The wait for Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baro

Chamkaayisi Chindi Udaayisi, Nidhi Subbaiah’s last film created quite some controversy at her absence from all the promotional events. She believes that her directors and producers may have been angry with her for speaking about not being comfortable shooting for a song on a beach in Bangkok. Parole shooting leads to prisoners flight

A jail prisoner escaped from the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail while the shooting of Parole was going on there. The prisoner, who was imprisoned for arson, managed to slip out without anyone noticing. Only when the roll call was taken the next day did the jail authorities realize that he had escaped.

Bips will swear no matter what!

Swear words are ‘in’ now. Director Sudipto Chattopadhyay didn’t want the Censor Board chopping off the part where Bipasha Basu says the ‘F’ word in the film Pankh, even if it meant the film would get an A certificate. Bipasha says the word twice in the film and Sudipto was very sure that he didn’t want the Board either deleting the word or beeping it. Some of the other characters in the film use foul language too, but those parts have been beeped. He just didn’t want Bipasha’s part to get deleted because in that scene she has a fight with Maradona, whom she stars opposite. She supports as well as opposes him in the film. The dialogue is apparently relevant in the film.

Prem Chopra in Kannada film

Bollywood movie Aitraaz is being remade in Kannada and Telugu as Srimathi. Directed by debutant director Sampath, the film will star Celina Jaitley who will be making her Kannada debut. News is that it will also star yesteryear Bollywood villain, Prem Chopra. Upendra and Priyanka will play the lead roles. Popular cinematographer Johny Lal is also returning to films after 11 years with Srimathi.

Ivanka Trump getting married

Donald Trump is giving away his daughter Ivanka Trump’s hand in marriage to Jared Kushner. Ivanka has converted to Judaism for Kushner. The wedding will be held in October on her father’s property– the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. Their engagement was announced in July.
