LONDON - Dustin Hoffman has drawn frowns from critics for mangling the Italian language in a new ad.
The 72-year-old acting legend shot for a tourist spot for Italy’s Marche region due to be launched in January.
He narrates Giacomo Leopardi’s poem “L’Infinito” (”The Infinite”), while on stage and strolling through the hills of the central Italian region, reports the Telegraph.
But a preliminary version of the television and cinema campaign was said to have already left some viewers reeling. (ANI)
