Katona Urged To Increase Security

Police have advised British reality TV star KERRY KATONA to tighten her security arrangements after an obsessed fan was seen loitering outside her home.
The former Atomic Kitten singer spoke to the unnamed fan and handed her an autograph, but a pal of the star became so concerned by the woman’s behaviour, she called police.
Katona had initially befriended the woman on social networking website Facebook, and officers warned her of the dangers of giving out personal details online.
Cops then quizzed the female over allegations of harassment and ordered her to stay away from the star’s home in Cheshire, England.
A source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “The woman’s obsessed and trying to get attention.”
A police spokesman says, “We are investigating an allegation of harassment against a woman… An officer has spoken to both parties. The complainant has been given advice regarding maintaining personal security and privacy while using social networking websites. The other person has been advised over their future conduct on such sites.”
