Nota Won “The Sing-Off” Finale Beating Out Beelzebubs

San Francisco- Nota won ‘The Sing Off” finale beating out Beelzebubs on the eve of NBC’s new show’s finale which was held on Monday. Among the three teams to reach the finale, The Voice of Lee got eliminated even before Nick Lachey could announce the winners of the 1st season. The cappella group-Beelzebubs were the first runners-up and in what was a moment of humor, they left the stage singing “We Gotta get Out Of This Place”.
Nota came out as the winner against the Beelzebubs in The Sing Off finale, a show that had started just a week ago. The show was short but immensely popular. Nota is essentially an all male-all vocal group. The judge Nicole Scherzinger (of the Pussycat Dolls) went on to sing a different version of the hit ‘You Don’t own me’ while the other judge’s (Shawn Stockman) group Boyz II Men, went on to sing a number of hits including the song-’End of the Road’. Ben Folds was not one to remain far behind when it came to jiving, and sang his version of ‘Why Cant we Be Friends’. The episode was a star-studded one, with special appearance in the form of Smokey Robinson and Bobby McFerrin. Even the audience present in the studio included some well known figures such as Masi Oka, Jack Black and Peter Gallagher. Two judges could even be seen shedding tears before the winner were announced by Nick Lachley.
Nota, the San Juan team has won The Sing Off- season one’s Finale, and have beaten out the Beelzebubs, and now the audience are rooting for another season of the show to go on air.
