LONDON - Penelope Cruz admits that her thirst for perfectionism can get very annoying for her co-stars, and says she often gets “thrown out of the set” for taking countless retakes.

“I always get thrown out of the set, because asking for too many takes (sic). I have a problem with that. I cannot let go. I cannot say ‘OK, now we can stop and move to the next thing…’ I drive everybody crazy because I can’t control myself. I always want to do one more,” the Daily Star quoted Cruz, as telling American TV host Larry King.

The 35-year-old Spanish beauty earned mediocre reviews and success in the early 2000s.

In 2004 she gained much critical acclaim for her role in the Italian flick Don’t Move, before bagging the best supporting actress Oscar for the 2008 romantic drama Vicky Cristina Barcelona. (ANI)
