Paisley Was Fed Groundhog By Ex

Country star BRAD PAISLEY embraces his southern roots and once dined on groundhog at an ex-girlfriend’s house.

The Then singer hails from West Virginia, where locals are often accused of being culturally backwards, and Paisley admits many of his friends and neighbours lived up to the stereotype when he was growing up.

He reveals, “I dated a girl once who was really country and really backwoods. Her family asked if I had every eaten groundhog. I said no, and the next time I went round they had shot a groundhog and we had it for dinner.”
