Leonardo DiCaprio ‘too bored’ to become Liverpool fan
By ANITuesday, December 15, 2009
WASHINGTON - Gangs Of New York star Stephen Graham has said he has been unsuccessful in turning Leonardo DiCaprio a soccer fan.
The Brit had given the ‘Titanic’ star a Liverpool shirt to make him agree to watch a match with him.
However, DiCaprio couldn’t wait for the players to score.
“He only managed the first half. ‘So let me get this straight,’ he said. ‘It’s halfway through the match and there’s still no score?’” Contactmusic quoted Graham as saying.
Graham admitted to being completely soccer crazy.
He said: “When I was filming Public Enemies, I had a five-hour drive back to Liverpool and was resigned to missing the Champions League semi-final.
“I moaned a bit and the director Michael Mann said, ‘Why don’t you take my jet?’ So I did.” (ANI)
