Rachel Weisz’s ‘bizarre’ Oscar experience
By ANIMonday, December 14, 2009
WASHINGTON - Rachel Weisz has said the experience of winning an Academy Award in 2006 was bizarre, as she was pregnant at that time.
The actress was expecting son Henry when she landed the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in ‘The Constant Gardener’.
“My son was born in 2006, so it must have been then. It was bizarre, because I was seven months pregnant, so the whole experience was bonkers,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
She added: “(Winning is) surreal, it’s as if it isn’t really happening to you… it’s very out of body.
“Anyway, it takes a while for it to sink in. Ask me (what it was like) in another decade.” (ANI)
