LONDON - British actor Hugh Grant has to regularly pop in anti-anxiety pills as he suffers from crippling panic attacks during film shoots.

The actor has been candid about his chronic anxiety, which began when he made Notting Hill with Julia Roberts in 1999. The attacks became severe while shooting the 2007 romantic comedy Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymore, reported imdb.com.

“They (the panic attacks) have been growing over the years. There would always be two or three during a film and on ‘Music and Lyrics’ I had a lot. I don’t really know why. They would come and go, said the actor.

“It’s humiliating and it’s so bad I can barely speak so they have to throw the scene away, he added.

That’s sad.. My wife is a fan of him. Everyone is susceptible to these attacks, unfortunately. Wonder if he has tried any natural cures, and if they helped.
