Florida- David Blaine, a famous street magician appeared in a number of TV shows. His first TV special, “David Blaine: Street Magic” was a serious mind-freak that held the audience spellbound. Many people have already been able to understand most of his tricks, except Levitation.

You can’t call it manipulation done by camera since it focus on his feet and close shots are taken of him doing levitation.

If you can remember the theories of gravity which states, to break free from a gravitational field one has to get past the Earth’s escape velocity, you might find it absurd.

So How does David Blaine Levitate?

Put your feet together. Then raise your left foot about 3 inches and at the same time, your right foot “tip toes”.

The illusion of levitation entirely depends on the angle of vision of the audience. So, you must be careful not showing your right foot doing the tip toe, to your audience. All they see is the side of your left foot and the back of your 2 feet. Only the side of your left foot and the back of your 2 feet should be visible.

You can do it . It’s tricky and hard but not impossible. You can adopt it through regular practise.
