Smyths & Mcenroe Join Marijuana Debate

Rocker PATTY SMYTH and her tennis ace husband JOHN MCENROE have reportedly taken a supportive stance in the battle to legalise marijuana in the U.S., after smoking a roll-up cigarette during a star-studded debate.

Smyth and McEnroe attended an open discussion about cannabis reform at a dinner hosted by celebrated artist Vito Schnabel in Miami, Florida on Thursday (03Dec09), according to the New York Post.

Joined by socialites and celebrity guests including actor Stephen Dorff, the couple reportedly shared a roll-up cigarette as the conversation heated up.

A source explains, “They were talking about grass (marijuana) reforms and the next thing you know they were lighting up. No one seemed to mind, though.”
