San Francisco- The viewers who liked the performance of Ray Romano in the sitcom titled ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ should feel happy as the actor is reinventing himself as a writer. That does not mean he is saying goodbye to acting though. He is all set to appear in a TV drama to be shown on TNT named ‘Men Of A Certain Age’. It is a TV drama that deals with the life of three guys and each of them has his share of quirks and distinguishing traits. Giving him company in the series are Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula. From the early reviews it is quite evident that the three actors have delivered awesome performances and the script complements the fine acting.
Though the subject of male bonding is nothing new, the director consciously avoids using elements like office affairs that we have seen numerous times. Since this dude based series of “Men of a Certain Age” does not involve so called macho elements it is natural that the viewers from many generations will relate to it. Ray Romano joined hands with his long time buddy Mike Royce. The big news is that Ray Romano is also writing for ‘Men Of A Certain Age‘ that is aired on TNT TV. While some viewers may wonder at his taking up the pen along with acting Ray Romano finds it enjoyable.
His character in ‘Men Of A Certain Age‘ named Joe has slightly neurotic overtones. Playing a separated father is not an easy job for an actor. The buddies that give him company named Owen and Terry, also have their share of problems.
