ROBBIE WILLIAMS is to wed his longterm girlfriend AYDA FIELD after proposing to her during a live radio interview in Australia.

The former Take That star was in the middle of an appearance on Sydney’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Friday morning (27Nov09), chatting about his most romantic gestures, when he surprised Field and the thousands of listeners by declaring his love for her - and then popped the question.

Williams said, “Ayda Field I love you so much… Will you marry me?”

A delighted Field replied, “Yes, I’ll marry you. Where’s the ring?”

The Angels hitmaker slipped a temporary ring on her finger, adding, “I love you so much. Would you be my betrothed ’til the end of time?”

The pair met on a blind date nearly three years ago.
